Talk to your school's athletic director. If your school doesn't have an athletic director, speak to a physical education teacher. Try to sell them on the high health and wellness benefits and relatively low expense of track and field.
thanks, exactly what is required to start an indoor program, what is the difference besides being outdoor between the two alternate season sports of outdoor and indoor track?
Some differences are – smaller tracks(usually 150-200meters), different events depending on where you live(600,300,55,1000,55hurdles,4×200,4×400,4×800,1600,3200,that is all i can think of.), Other differences is that in indoor you are required to work the turns more due to the fact that you will being around more of them, and if you practice in your school be sure to nurse shin splints because they tend to occur more.
