Anybody have any good tattoo ideas? I plan on getting one soon, just need to find the price, sicne my parents won't pay for it.

I'm thinking of one that is symbolic, that has a meaning. I've looked up some Japanese symbols, like my zodiac symbol, etc

          any other ideas?

Well I have a tattoo on my right leg that has an illustration of The Flash, but the face is actually of my face if you look closely. The "Flash" is in his acceleration phase with the blurr behind him. Under The Flash, it has the words "It's in my Blood" with blood dripping down from the letters. The "It's in my Blood" symbolizes that Track and Field is in my blood.

Nice…I like. My opinion is that a tatoo should mean or symbolize something personal to you. I have two myself and they stand for who I am… I am not a fan of the meaningless tatoo on someone.

If you're going to put something on your body that is going to be there for THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, it better mean something to you!

Allow me to offer another perspective. Think of yourself 20 years or so from now. You are firmly entrenched in your career and are a mature responsible adult. As that person, what would your advice be to yourself on this topic? Anticipate what your children will say because, believe me, they don't miss a single thing.

Want to really be trendy? Skip the tattoo. It's not what's on your skin that counts, but what rather it's what's in your heart.

I'm not raggin on people that have them, I'm just glad I never did it.

          KW,

That's why IF you must get one, the smart thing to do would be to get something that won't embarrass you later in life.

I hear ya barkin homedawg, but the only way to be sure of that is to either:
          A) not get one or
          B) have it done in a place that would not be conspicuous.

          OR
you could get the sure to be always trendy EliteTrack.com logo!

Keith, you crack me up…but really, as both Gov and I have tatoos, I truly know they are something we will not regret down the road.

I hope anyone who has one can say the same thing…feel the same way!!!
