          Im sure they are going to be lots of discussions about teddy tamgho in the future.
          He has set a new indoor WR of 17.91m improving on his previous world record by 1cm.

          The scary think is that he is still only 21 has two WR under his belt, and surely has many many years ahead of him.
          Last year he changed his coach to Ivan Pedroso and calls this a year of ‘transition’ and indicated that he does not expect to jump big!

          Is he the equivalent of Bolt, of the field events?

          With the Europeans just next month, in his Home City Paris…What can we expect him to jump?

          I thought of him being the equal to Bolt in Tj, but then i realised he would have to be jumping 1860+ to equal Bolt seeing as the sprints are way more competitive.

          Just an example. At the time of Edwards record the 100m record was 9.85. I know all world records are not equal, but who hasn’t tried to sprint. Even in a lot of other sports people give the sprints a go. TJ is very specific.

          On the top lists there seems to be a lot of top triple jumpers that sustain a good level for only a couple of seasons and then they are finished.

          Since no one agrees with the Bolt comparison. How about Triple jumps very own version of Bubka?
