Good article Coach Banta. In particular we’ve used both Medball and weighted vest during our warmups in the gym area prior to the competition event. This area is the only space generally provided to athletes during the indoor season @ RLTAC in the MA community.
We get in approximately 10m of block start and clearance work using sprintStart & SprintTimer for block reaction measurement and clearance timing. These are iOS smart devices which were discussed previously on the forum.
We generally revise the process after the fifth or sixth event there. We work small circles with the Medball extended given the increase of relay meets and curve running events.
