That’s really odd because if you do what Ron mentioned, the knee should basically be in an “A position” (as in a-skips / high knees) that the hip will be externally rotated. Does the knee bother you or pop when you squat deep?
Yeah this sucks. Still happening. its fine with i squat. I think its because i dont drive with my hip as much as i do my knee? If that makse sence.
Im icing tonight, hopefully it will be good for holiday relays tommrow.
I get that problem with my knee too. I’m an intermediate hurdler, and i get it with my non-dominant leg. It doesn’t hurt me either, and i’ve been told that it’s just something with the way the tendons and ligaments are in my knee, that they roll over and “pop.” I haven’t had any problems that have resulted from it, so as long as you’re not experiencing pain, you may not have anything to worry about.
An athletic trainer once told me that the “something is popping” complaint is the one they hear the most and the one they most often can’t give a straight answer for. I think the general rule is that if it’s popping but it’s not hurting don’t worry about it.
