Hi, I'd appreciate any advice if anyone has been in a similar situation to this or if any coach has had athletes in this situation…
My training has been goin well for the past few months (TJ with some LJ) and I am very fit and in quite good shape and looking forward to the outdoor season.
Unfortunately I was hit by a rather nasty cold bug about a week ago so i've been off training for a week now and probably won't be back till two days time. When I amd recovered, do I continue as normal with my training schedule (I compete in 2 weeks in a British league meet) or should I do anything different for the first week or so.
Will the week and a half off training affect me adversly if I was pretty fit in the first place? Thanks
