I would definately say that the first thing you need to change is to lengthen your hop. a lot! there are other things you could look at in terms of step into jump but that would be a waste of time in my opinion until your hop is right. looking at the video, your hop looks to be about 4m. with a 6.50m ish long jump you should be capable of a comfortable 5m hop, possibly further, which would make a massive difference to your overall distance. until you address the hop there is not much point looking beyond that, as you could make technical changes to the step or jump but as soon as you start hitting bigger hops these changes will almost certainly evaporate. therefore, in summary I would suggest you make a big effort to go for a big 5m+ hop phase with more lift than you are currently getting but still emphasising horizontal velocity at take-off. this will probably fuck up your step phase initially but given time you will adapt to the bigger hop and as this happens I am confident your overall jump distance will improve dramatically
