CBS has another hour of coverage 1-2pm eastern tomorrow that I'm sure will have the rest of the races.

          One would certainly hope so.

structural adaptation of lower leg (and elastic strength) may be a benefit of int tempo or higher vol special endurance work.  these references were ripped from cf.com.  you can use these terms to search there and read more about 400m training's benefits for 100m

Locatelli, Elio The importance of anaerobic glycolysis and stiffness in the sprints (60, 100 & 200 metres). 1996 NSA

Lacour, René Physiological analysis of qualities required in sprinting. NSA 1996

Locatelli, Elio The mechanics and energetics of the 100m sprint NSA 1995

Yeah the work is prob. more like high vol. special endurance based on sample workouts/rests/speeds. The intensive tempo becomes less like intensive tempo as the season goes on and may only be one rep of ~200m or so (for example) @ 100%. They also do clearly do speed work based on their speed change drills and sled sprints, but they also use the longer reps as well.

Tyson and Spearmon are supposed to be WEAK in the weightroom… they do (or did) olympic lifts, squats, etc. though.
