    up hill training

          sorry for asking something about uphill running again. how far should you run up hill for. we train with

          3 set 4 for 30 meters uphill

          when we run the sand dune at the dune park in mahattan beach CA we only go
          3 set of 3 at 20 to 30 meters,(lot harder and work more quads)
          this hill is all sand and has a slight up grade until you get past about 80 meters and the slope increases. if any body have a hill workout or can give me a better idea, i would love it. and what is the speed should train or do have a up hill training program already i would love to have one.

          All of the variables (hill length and incline, rest interval, intensity, etc.) and how you incorporate them will depend on what you're trying to accomplish. What are you trying to accomplish with the hill training (special strength, general fitness, acceleration mechanics, specific endurance, etc.)?

          Short hills with a steep incline. Reps depends on how in shape you are, how much your body can handle, and how your body adapts.

          of short steep hill work.

          Prefer it to Stadium Stairs
