    Weak Legs

          After Back-Squatting free weights for the first time last week, I realized my legs are very very weak, and my squat is way below average… as far as squatting and leg strength goes.. how much impact does a good squat have on speed, and if I was to drastically improve my squat, would I see increased speed gains? Any suggestions on the best way to build up weak legs?

          POSTERIOR CHAIN!!! Focus on strengthening your hamstrings and lower back, and get a good routine together it will help your speed A LOT

          you will see improvements when you bring your strength up. However there will be diminishing returns. How do you know you’re squat is way below average? What’s your squat and how much do you weigh?

          Trust me man, it’s below average… I’m pretty sure most people Squat more then they Bench.. not in my case.. I mean, I’ve never really squatted before, so being new to it might have something to do with it… but I weight 160, and can only squat 155LBSx8.. so I’m assuming thats in the 190-200LB Area for a 1RM… like I said, WEAAAAAKKK.
