This year i finally stop concentrating on the 400 because i was a much better jumper than runner and didn't feel that i had the speed or potential to be able to compete in it during college. My pb's in the 200 300 and 400 were only 23.6 FAT and 39.7 HT 54.6 FAT, and i way regularly being killed in competitions during hte winter season at the Armory. for the spring i concentrated only on the tj during practice, though i ran the 800(horribly) a couple of times when we were facing bad teams that i could beat easily. to my surprise i anchored our conference meets 4×400 team and my split timed at 51.8 by my coach and 51.6 by the officials. Should I stick with the just TJ in college (pb 44'9" 4" off states) or would i be competitive in college (DIII SUNY Cortland)
what should i do
