As I was reading and talking to Dark Knight in his journal, I got a new question.
He says that for him to develop himself optimally he wants to work on building his speed first all throughout indoor and when outdoor starts then he will begin to work on his speed endurance. This seems totally rational to me, but now the big question…..is it the BEST way to train and how would this apply to say a 400m runner?
I'm working a lot on endurance and LA tolerance work first before working on the SE1 and such, yet I'm also working on short speed as well (up to 60m) at the same time. I feel that if I can drop time off of fitness first it would benefit me more later on. However, would you consider this optimal?
I think this could start a nice discussion….JJ, Mike, Phoenix,Quik?
