    What’s a good workout for a person……

          Who just recovered from a hamstring injury(well almost)?  It's been 10 weeks since Id tore my hamstring and its about 85-90% well. So any suggestion on a good starter workout?

          anything thats not going to put too much of a strain on it , so dont do speed work. You have to jog and see how it feels and then slowly build up the intensity of the workouts to what they were before the injury. circuit training can keep you in shape while your not able to run though, but if you really want to run you can put short jogs in your circuit training routine.

          You will feel like you can go all out before you are actually ready to go all out.  Be very careful, its quite annoying to have a pointless setback.

          I think physically i can but mentally i have that thought of pulling again if i run @ full blast.

          What are short jogs?  Do you mean jogging a lap or two?

          jog to stay in shape and to keep your legs strong, but you should stay under a mile for a while and if after a week you don't feel any pain, you can add in workouts. Until your back to full fitness level  you can do some circuit training which will also help you to stay in shape and increase strength and break the monotony of jogging.
