Im a firm beleiver in the whole 5km pace is the "golden pace" but i was wondering if any1 knows a formula that can be used to work out someone's 5km potential time from there 3km and 1.5km PB's. This being because i have a 12 year old female that i need to know her 5km pace but im not letting her run anything longer than 4km hard runs because i think shes too old at the moment – therefore not having run a 5km makes it hard to work out her "golden pace" :wink2:
Her times are:
3km – 10:21
1.5km – 4:48
suggestions of what she could possibly run would be good aswel but if anyone has a formula to work this out from 3km and 1.5km pace i would be very grateful. i know forumlas to work out paces up until 1.5km (400m potential from 200m PB etc) but thats where my knowledge stops :sniff: .obviously there are no 100% accurate formulas as every1 is different but aslong as i have a rough idea i can work the rest out
thx heaps for your time guyz
